Members of Spalding and District Flower Lovers Club tested their knowledge of different decades at a quiz with a difference.

Jo Gray, Sue Biggadike, Jan Neaverson, chairman Christine Penney and Wendy Goodliffe donned outfits to illustrate the decades – including a hippy and Ginger Spice from the Spice Girls.

The members testing out their dressing-up boxes also created flower arrangements to illustrate the decades while members tested their memories and answered quiz questions from each period.

Jo, the club media officer (pictured right), said: “I was dressed up as someone in the 60s and I looked like a chess board, actually, with a black and white mini dress and cap, which came with the outfit from Amazon.”

Sue was the hippy, Jan was Ginger Spice, Christine became an Olivia Newton-John Pink Lady and Wendy illustrated the millennium by wearing a sparkly ball gown.

The event at Spalding Grammar School was part of the club’s 55th anniversary celebrations.
