Spalding-based grower Lincolnshire Field Products Ltd (LFP) is the Grower of the Year – and that’s now official.
The company received the Grower of the Year Award (Lincoln) at an awards ceremony hosted by Branston Potatoes.
The award was presented to managing director Robin Hancox and farm manager Paul Langford.
LFP harvests 25,000 tons of potatoes each year, consisting of ten varieties, which are then boxed and placed into cold storage for onward movement throughout the year for the pre-pack market.
A dedicated team from the LFP farm department is responsible for planting, harvesting and storage of the potato crop.
