They have sung a My Fair Lady medley in front of huge crowds in one of London’s West End theatres.

Now Spalding ladies’ choir A Handful of Harmonies has put some of their favourite songs – including a selection of songs from Mamma Mia – on to a CD, called More Songs from Stage and Screen.

It’s the second CD for the choir, recorded in the United Reformed Church in Spalding using portable recording equipment.

Now they have issued an open invitation to other women interested in singing to join them tomorrow at Bromley Memorial Hall at Pode Hole – singing from 1.30 to 3pm but meeting first at 1pm for tea and chat.

There is also a free Circle of Life workshop on Sunday, January 10 (2pm) at Stamford Arts Centre leading up to a charity concert in the same venue on Saturday, January 16 (7.30pm).

Go along to either venue (where you can buy copies of the CD for £8) or contact Andrew Clingo on 01778 345857.
