Residents of a Spalding care home spent a week making heart-shaped decorations and bunting for their St Valentine’s Day celebrations yesterday (Tuesday).
Wellbeing and activities coordinator Ida Brickles said: “We also spent time think about things that we love this week.
“Residents wrote their thoughts on hearts and we used these to decorate our home.”
Families and friends joined residents’ celebrations at St John’s Care Home, in Hawthorn Bank, and took part in a sing-along and dancing to music by singer Antoine.
Fellow wellbeing and activities coordinator Steve Smith said: “We had a fantastic time.
“We love a party at St John’s and it was great to see the residents joining with staff and singing along to the music.”
