Bookmark in Spalding has selected Alice’s Puzzles in Wonderland by Richard Wolfrik Galland as its book of the week.

Alice’s Puzzles in Wonderland has been compiled by Richard Wolfrik Galland, a writer and games designer who lives in Lincoln.

Take a trip down the rabbit hole into a wondrous world of riddles and enigmas.

This fabulous collection offers a host of challenging puzzles, designed to test puzzlers’ powers of perception, logic, and deduction.

Some will be familiar, while others are curiouser... and curiouser. Along with some of Lewis Carroll’s own logical brainteasers, there are 75 specially commissioned riddles and conundrums themed around the iconic book, as well as Sir John Tenniel’s original artwork. Solutions to each puzzle are included.

To tie in with the book, Bookmark is holding a Mad Hatters Tea Party on Thursday (2.30-4pm). Youngsters are invited to dress up in their best Alice in Wonderland costumes for a fun-filled afternoon of activities followed by a tea party with a difference!

Tickets are £5 from Bookmark to include party food and drink.

The book retails for £7.99 but there is a 20 per cent discount voucher to be used at Bookmark contained in the Spalding Guardian of August 20.
