A Spalding bank worker has achieved her aim of raising £15,000 for three charities close to her heart.

Gaynor Fiske organised a variety for events, including a balloon popping competition and Valentine’s Night auction, raffle and disco, in aid of the Butterfly Hospice Trust, Callum Pite’s Smile Charity and South Holland LIVES.

The final total was reached with the help of a match-funding arrangement between Gaynor and her employers Santander after which the charity effort, Hearts with Santander, was named.

Gaynor said: “I would like to say a big thanks to everyone in and around Spalding, both personal and business, for their contributions and also our local councillors for their support.

“Finally, I must thank Santander customers and staff for all their hard work and devotion to three charities that all need local help.”
