Spalding LIVES (Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service) received a £1,600 donation after being nominated by colleagues at Spalding’s Norwich & Peterborough Building Society.

Kelly Cross, customer advisor at the N&P branch in Spalding, said: “The volunteers from Spalding LIVES provide a truly invaluable service. I’m really proud the Charitable Foundation has been able to support such a fantastic charity.”

The charity has been able to buy 16 new high visibility jackets and seven pairs of protective boots with the money.

Nigel Perry, of Spalding LIVES, said: “It is vital that our volunteers are properly protected when they are on duty helping to save lives.”
