Members of The Priory Singers look on as a cheque for £1,000 is presented by the choir’s treasurer Judith Riley to conductor Malcolm Grief, who is also the local representative for Clic Sargent.

The money was collected at the choir’s two Christmas concerts, held in Spalding and Holbeach.

A cheque for £300 was also presented to Irene Davies, representative for Agape Care Food Bank in Spalding. The money was given in donations at the end of the Priory Singers’ Easter Sunday concert when they sang John Stainer’s The Crucifixion at the town’s United Reformed Church.
