SKATERS and bikers had a chance to show off a few moves in Pinchbeck on Saturday.

A mobile skate park was set up in Rotten Row Playing Field to give youngsters the chance to try out their skills.

The skate park visit was a joint venture arranged by Pinchbeck Parish Council, Lincolnshire Police and South Holland District Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour Unit.

Staff from skate park manufacturer Maverick were also on hand to show potential sketches and designs for a permanent skate park for the village.

They were hoping to get views from potential users before drawing up more designs.

These will then be taken back to the parish council for consideration.
