From 10am-5pm there will be exhibitions by the champs and a chance to work on your skills with expert coaches.

The event is being sponsored by district councillor Pete Williams and is open to youngsters from St Paul’s and across South Holland.

Coun Williams said: “As a councillor, we are given a budget to spend in our ward but there are so many good causes out there it can soon disappear.

“I wanted to give something to the youth of St Paul’s that could be developed into an annual event. This will require support from the whole area, for instance under 16s will need parental permission.

“If we want to develop the day for future years we will need a small committee made up of all ages and I would ask that anyone who is interested to contact me now or after what will be a superb day on Tuesday, August 2.”

Tulip Radio’s Jan Whitbourn said: “This is an excellent initiative for young people in the area and it would be great to see youths from Donington, Gosberton, Holbeach, Long Sutton as well as from Spalding.”
