The Fujita sisters have been playing chamber music together since childhood, and they perform all over the world as soloists and together as a renowned piano trio.
Their programme contrasts Mendelsshon’s youthful romanticism with Shostakovich’s emotional drama and Haydn’s wit, ending with Schubert’s wonderful Bb trio.
The piano trio are appearing at Spalding’s South Holland Centre on Saturday from 7.30pm.
For some time South Holland Concerts has been bringing up and coming and established classical musicians to Spalding.
Acclaimed since their debut at the Wigmore Hall London in March 1999, the Fujita Trio have since played at more than 100 venues, and have won numerous awards and prizes, both individually and as a trio.
