Are you holding activities for children and families in South Holland during the summer holidays? If so, the district council wants to hear from you.

With the summer fast approaching, South Holland District Council’s community development team are busily preparing its annual Summer Fun brochure.

If you would like your event to be included in the popular booklet FREE of charge, then you need to complete an entry form and send it to the council by Monday, May 23.

Each year the brochure lists the wide range of leisure and cultural opportunities for children, young people and families in the district over the school summer holidays.

Many families find the free guide invaluable when it comes to planning their summer activities.

The Summer Fun brochure will be distributed to every school child in July and copies will be available at libraries, arts centres and sports venues. It will also be published online.

To be eligible for publication, activities must take place between July 16 and September 4. Priority will be given to events taking place in South Holland.

The council reserves full editorial rights and whilst every effort is made to include as much detail as possible, there may be limitation on space and design.

To get your event published in Summer Fun visit www.sholland.gov.uk/summerfun or call the council on 01775 761161 and ask to speak to the community development team who will send you an entry form. You can also email the team at community@sholland.gov.uk.
