MARIE Curie Cancer Care holds its annual summer evening walk at Grimsthorpe Castle on Friday, August 17, and is calling on everyone to take part.
The 10k walk is one of a series of unique ‘Walk Ten’ events taking place at 25 locations across the UK.
Registration is £10 per person (under 16s go free) and everyone is encouraged to raise as much as possible to support Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The walk will go through the grounds of the estate, taking in rolling countryside, woodland, fields and lakes.
After the walk there will be an evening of live music and family style entertainment before a firework display at 10pm to mark the time when Marie Curie Nurses start their night shift.
