YOUNG people looking for the next step in their career or education are invited to sign up for a life-changing personal development course.
The Prince’s Trust team programme – run locally by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue – offers people aged 16 to 25 a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop the skills essential for success.
Around 70 per cent of the people who take part go on to jobs, training or education within three months.
There are 12 courses available next year and places are available in Spalding, along with other towns. Thanks to increased funding from Lincolnshire County Council, the programme has places for 180 people this year.
Those accepted onto the course will be taken on a 12-week programme involving outdoor activities like caving and climbing, as well as team challenges, community work, a job placement, and careers guidance.
It is designed to boost confidence and motivation, help uncover hidden talents and develop skills crucial to work.
