Sesame Street with life lessons is how Act II’s latest production has been described.

Avenue Q School Edition – the show that mixes fun and fur, thanks to a host of characters played by puppets – is coming to Spalding’s South Holland Centre next Thursday, February 13 (7.30pm).

The show is being performed for the first time in South Holland by Act II Theatre Company, by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd, accompanied by a fantastic set of puppets.

Director Charlotte Gernert said: “This is one of the few West End musicals in recent years to be original. It’s not based on a film or a band’s back catalogue. It is screamingly funny, but also touching and honest.”

Tickets cost £9. £7.50 concessions, and for groups of ten plus all tickets are £6.50. Call 01775 764777 or book at wwwsouthhollandcentre.co.uk
