A VILLAGE primary school has applied to build an extension.
Moulton Chapel Primary School wants to add an extension on the back of its existing Victorian building to provide an extra classroom.
It would replace a mobile building currently being used to teach Year Five pupils.
As part of a planning application to South Holland District Council, a design and access statement says: “Unfortunately the temporary classroom is situated at the front of the school, several metres away from the main building which leads to this class being detached from the main school and its daily activities.
“This extension would help raise standards and improve the existing facilities for pupils at the school and ensure the school’s sustainability in the future.”
