Saracen’s Head Flower Club produced a blooming spectacular result for two charities when they held their China tea party at the village hall.
The Alzheimer’s Society and Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance will each receive donations of £530 from the big night out.
The charity evening included demonstrations by Ann Purt, who donated six of her arrangements to the grand raffle.
The tea party is a popular event and isn’t advertised because the seats are soon snapped up.
Club member June Taylor said: “It’s a fabulous night – we had about 75 people there and that’s as many as we can fit into the hall.
“We are a lovely group and we all have our input and we all help one another.”
