Spalding Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society (SADOS) has a reputation for presenting high quality musicals and comedies and the autumn production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest promises to deliver.

The play will be staged at the South Holland Centre, Spalding, from November 21 to 24.

Set in a state mental hospital in 1950s America, it tells the story of a small time criminal, Randle McMurphy, who seeks to escape another jail sentence by being diagnosed as schizophrenic, and is sent for assessment at the institution.

He clashes with head nurse Ratched, who insists on total control on the ward. But McMurphy doesn’t realise that Nurse Ratched has a secret, which means that his future lies entirely in her hands...

Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions) and available from the box office on 01775 764777.
