lorry driver Rod Snell is walking around looking a bit daft with an unusual haircut, but he doesn’t mind.
Rod had half his head shaved to raise money for Leicester Heart Link, which helped his family after his grandson Oscar Bolland was born prematurely and in need of heart surgery.
Rod, of Main Road, Thurlby, was so impressed with the charity’s work he asked Bourne barber Lee Markey for the unusual shave, and so far has collected £300 in sponsorship.
“It’s the strangest haircut I have ever had,” admitted Rod. “But it’s a small price to pay.”
