There was headware galore at Adderley House in Long Sutton when an Easter bonnet competition was held for the residents to take part in.
In the morning, Jane Webb helped to judge the competition, with Doris Caney winning first place, Maurice Poole winning second and Joe Chapman winning third.
Those who didn’t win weren’t left empty handed though, as everyone at Adderley House was given an Easter egg to celebrate the day.
In the afternoon a raffle was held, followed by a buffet dinner and entertainment in the evening.
In the run up to the event, there was a night of entertainment and bingo as well as a fish and chip supper on Good Friday which was enjoyed by all of the residents.
Mrs Mastin, who is activities co-ordinator at Adderley House, said: “Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event as well as their Easter eggs. It was brilliant!”
