Spalding Model Railway Club members showed off their handwork to invited guests and interested visitors at their third annual open weekend.

The group, which has between 20 and 30 members, displayed its completed layouts and works in progress at its rented premises above Pinchbeck Village Hall.

The event, which was attended by about 100 guests in total, raised about £110, which will go towards the group’s three chosen charities for the year, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambualnce, Pilgrim Hospital’s children’s ward and Pinchbeck East Primary School.

The model railway club meets every Wednesday and Friday from 7pm to 9pm and anyone is welcome to go along and find out more.
