MORE than £800 is on its way to charity after the public were asked to put their knowledge to the test at a quiz in Spalding.
The evening hosted by the Spalding branch of Action Medical Research saw teams quizzed on the Queen, her diamond jubilee and the charity itself at Ayscoughfee Hall School on Friday.
The food also followed the royal theme, with servings of coronation chicken, rice and salad.
Fruit platters were donated by Univeg.
Chairman Tracey Hull said: “It was a really enjoyable night.”
