Graham Crosby (left) and his brother Lawrence, who farmed together in Quadring until their retirement, were pictured in these newspapers in 1972 with what was called possibly “the smallest cemetery in the country”.

The cemetery was in a corner of their farm and the Crosby family looked after the plot, the burial ground of former local Baptist family named Smith, for over 50 years.
