QUADRING Primary School has been named as one of 121 innovative schools in the UK.

Quadring Cowley and Brown’s Primary School has achieved a gold award for becoming a Go4it school.

The school was awarded Go4it status by Heads, Teachers and Industry, a charity that works to bring education and business closer together and to improve the employability of school leavers.

Go4it is the only national award to identify schools that demonstrate a can-do ethos.

Headteacher Nicki Wilkinson said: “Go4it has endorsed the school’s ‘can-do’ ethos. It has broadened the curriculum to emphasise skills-based learning, embracing enterprise and inspiring our pupils to be lovers of learning and learners for life.”
