The mass diversion of trains through Spalding over five weekends will be on the agenda when Spalding and Peterborough Transport Forum meets in the district council chamber in Priory Road at 7pm on March 26.

Members of the public are invited.

Network Rail is diverting trains from the East Coast mainline because of multiple engineering works.

The final weekend of the diversion is March 28-29.

More than 100 trains have passed through the town on some weekends – at least five times the usual number.
