The Food from the Farm community project looks to give South Holland locals the chance to get in touch with their rural roots and visit farms across the region for free.

Artist Hannah Gardiner has come to Boston Borough and South Holland as part of the Transported Arts Programme and will be working to explore the local foodscape, and capture memories, moments and recipes from local people and farms.

Miss Gardiner said: “The idea is to give people who haven’t had the opportunity to go to a farm the platform to do so.”

She will then travel to food outlets throughout the region, giving the public a chance to taste the collected recipes, with a digital book containing all the meals set for release in November.

Dates from August 15 to September 4 have been confirmed with more to follow. For details call 0447538235988, or see www.transportedart.com
