THE Spalding detachment of the Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force held its annual awards ceremony to recognise the achievements of members.

A number of individual and group presentations were awarded during the ceremony, including the Grenadier Guards Association award for the most improved cadet which was awarded to Cadet Emily McLoughlin.

The Arthur Hendy trophy, dedicated by the parachute Regiment Association in Spalding for the work he did with the parachute regiment during his lifetime, was awarded to the Arnhem Association, led by Corporal Jonathan Barton.
