Children won’t be able to squish clay in little fingers, but they will be able to watch the magic of a pot emerging from raw material in Spalding on Thursday (10.30am to 3.30pm).

Unique Cottage Studios’ resident potter Tony Orvis is demonstrating pot building at the studios’ promotional shop space at 24 The Crescent.

Visitors will be able to admire his skills and, if they feel inspired, find out more about working in clay and the range of creative classes that are held at the studios throughout the year.

There will also be a selection of art of display, including paintings, willow weaving, sculptures, prints and a whole range of Tony’s work so you can get an idea of what can be achieved.

More information from the studios on 01775 766698.
