A new campaign is being launched which sees the police, South Holland District Council and the local community working together to tackle litter.
It is the result of findings by the Spalding East Rural Policing Community Panel, which identified littering in the villages as one of its priorities.
PCSO Bev Robinson said: “The panel meets every three months and identifies the issues which are of concern to local residents.
“Littering around the rural villages has been raised as a panel priority and we are working alongside South Holland District Council to tackle the problem.
“We have designed a leaflet in English and Polish which we will be giving it out to land workers, villagers and visitors, asking them to respect the area and help keep our communities tidy.”
