THE second annual Gosberton Risegate Vintage Tractor Working Weekend raised £1,044 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Held at Beach Lane, the event attracted around 60 people including enthusiasts who turned out with 25 vintage tractors and ploughs.

Organiser Trevor Kerfoot said there were no prizes – people just turned up and did just as they wished.

He said: “It’s only light-hearted fun.”

The event included refreshments, a clay pigeon shoot, a hog roast and fireworks.

Mr Kerfoot said: “I would like to thank everyone who supported the event.”
