LESSONS in stranger danger are set to help younger pupils and a charity thanks to performing arts students at Spalding’s Sir John Gleed School.

Six year 11 boys from the Btec course will tour around local primary schools with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support after they devised an educational performance and workshop with puppets they have made.

Teacher Daisy Ivatt said: “This project goes towards their final grade and they have really impressed me with their dedication and creativity towards the unit. I am also so proud of them for donating the money to such an excellent charity – I hope that this will be the start of an annual primary school project.”
