The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is the tenth art work that has been applied to a FreshLinc trailer through the Transported project.

Commercial manager Ashley Holland said: “The trailers are special and every driver is extremely proud of taking them across not only the UK, but Europe.”

He said Corgi was in the early stages of producing a model of the Battle of Britain trailer.

Transported’s Melissa Poulson said a second project would involve FreshLinc drivers in the commissioning process.

She said: “We are incredibly lucky that FreshLinc have been supportive. They are a brilliant partner to work with.”

FreshLinc has been involved in a number of Transported projects, and in one of them, View From Here, drivers were asked to take photographs of aspects of their daily journeys.

Melissa hopes the images that were taken will become an exhibition in future.
