AN amateur photography group is being praised for a successful exhibition.
Deepings Camera Club held a photo exhibition at Deeping Community Centre with 131 photos on display.
The annual weekend-long event, which has been running for around a decade, was officially opened by Major of Deeping Bob Broughton.
The public were invited to vote for their favourite three photos, with the club receiving a total of 207 voting slips across the two days.
There are currently over 60 members affiliated to the club, which has has been now running for 26 years.
Chairman of the club, Tim Chapman, said: “We are known to be successful in the Lincolnshire area and some of the photos displayed have had national or international recognition.
“Although an amateur club we do have members who are part of the Royal Photographic Society and it was encouraging to see a steady stream of people across the weekend.”
