A MARATHON runner has given a Spalding charity a £1,000 boost.
David Pulford took part in the Seabank Marathon raising £500, which was matched by his employer GlaxoSmithKline and donated to the Spalding branch of Phab (Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied).
Branch chairman Andrew Inkley said: “David decided to support us because his brother Nigel is a member of the club.
“We were delighted with the £1,000 and it will be used to pay for a day trip next summer.”
Phab meets twice a month.
