There were 125 entrants for the 3km fun run and 225 runners for the 10km. The event raised more than £4,000 for Rotary causes.

Race director Tony Anders said: “Thank you to everyone for coming along and making it a great day out for all.”

He said the run could only have taken place with the generous support from sponsors.

These were Bourne Prepared Produce, Rutland Sports, The White Horse Baston, Bourne Services, Larkfleet, Hoppers, Branch Bros, Manor Energy and Sainsbury’s who provided the water and bananas.
