Pensioner hurt in collision with mobility scooter

AN ELDERLY woman suffered cuts and grazes after colliding with a pensioner riding a mobility scooter in Spalding.

The 72-year-old pedestrian from Deeping St James was taken by ambulance to Stamford Hospital for treatment after she was knocked to the ground in Pied Calf Yard on Saturday.

The 78-year-old Spalding woman who was on the scooter is not believed, to have been injured.

The incident happened just after noon.
