Park ‘sexual assault’ on boy (11)

AN 11-YEAR-OLD has claimed he was sexually assaulted in a Sutton Bridge park.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in Central Park, Gas House Lane, to contact them after the young boy said he was approached by a man at about 5.30pm on Thursday, June 14.

The boy was believed to have been alone in the park when the man pinned him to the ground and started kissing him on his cheek and neck.

The youngster managed to run away.

The offender was described as white, aged in his teens or early 20s, around 5ft 10ins tall, with short, dark brown hair.

He was believed to have been wearing a long-sleeved red T-shirt and black trousers.

DC Andrew Mitchell, from Spalding Police Station, is appealing for anyone in the park at the time of the attack, or who may have seen someone matching the offender’s description to contact him on the non-emergency number 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
