Organisers of Spalding People’s Parade have been busy decorating 12 floats for the event on June 22 and there’s still time to make more if the demand is there.

Kate Alexander, organiser, said: “It’s been really nice to see how they are made from scratch the traditional way.”

School’s and charities can rent a float for the parade. Kate is calling for more volunteers to help decorate them and marshall the event.
