Stars of the stage brought a bit of drama – and a lot of pantomime magic – into the classroom at Holbeach Bank Primary School.

Actors from Polka Dot Academy of Perfoming Arts taught youngsters about the art of putting on a panto as they get ready to perform Jack and the Beanstalk this festive season.

The children dressed up to take part in the workshop led by Shannon Connolly.

The panto will be performed from December 13 to January 6 at Spalding’s South Holland Centre and will give audiences plenty of chances to cheer and jeer as Jack embarks on his magical journey to giant Blunderbore’s castle in the sky.
