A pair of site managers from South Holland have won a Seal of Excellence in the second round of UK house-building’s equivalent to the Oscars – the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.
Andrew Smith and Greg Wimsey, who are site managers for Kier Homes, won the award for their Wygate Park site in Spalding.
The pair were selected from around 15,000 site managers across the country and were one of 21 recognised at a ceremony held at the Athena in Leicester - it is also the second consecutive year where Andrew has won the award.
NHBC Regional Director Richard Hartshorn said: “Now in their 34th year, the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards are the most sought after accolades in the industry, recognising site managers that build high quality homes.
“Site managers play a critical role in delivering any project, being responsible for overseeing everything that happens on site from start to finish.
“Andrew and Greg are building homes of a very high standard, and is a worthy Seal of Excellence recipient. Anyone buying a home built by one of our winners can do so with confidence in its workmanship and quality.”
