Dave Newman and Richard Wells of Billingborough Cricket Club have become Guinness World Record holders by completing a 48 hour long net session.

The record attempt was also put on in order to raise awareness and much needed funds for Brain Tumour Research, which is a charity close to their hearts as fellow team mate, Wayne Chessum, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2008.

Almost a year after they completed their 48 hours and two seconds long net session, they have received their certificate, making them official record breakers.
