Children, parents and staff at the Ofsted-rated outstanding Acorn Childcare, Spalding, are just weeks away from the opening of a second nursery in the town.

Youngsters aged from three months to 14 will be using the new Little Oaks centre at Fulney Hall, Holbeach Road, from September.

Nursery owner Kathy Holmes said: “We’re always full at our other place in Cross Street, Spalding, so when we found out that Fulney Hall was available we decided to ask whether we could open up our second premises.

“It’s been exhausting because we’ve been working hard to clean it, but we’re incredibly excited because we’ve been looking at the place for a long time and thinking that it was ideal for us.”
