A scheme giving free help and advice to businesses in Bourne and the Deepings has been extended to retailers in the area.
SKDC4Business, run by Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce with funding from South Kesteven District Council, is continuing for the next two years with a new retail element.
Business advisor Paul Parkinson will be giving free face-to-face and impartial advice about starting up small businesses, while retail expert Aimee Holland will be working with retailers to improve their sales and profits.
A pilot scheme was launched 12 months ago across South Kesteven and so far, more than 300 businesses have taken advantage of the help and support on offer.
Simon Beardsley, chief executive of Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “I am delighted to hear that SKDC4Busines can run for another two years, with a new retail element being introduced for the first time.”
