A primary school threw open its doors to parents, prospective parents and interested visitors to see what goes on duringa normal day in the classroom.
The open day was in response to requests from parents who said they wanted to see the school in operation during the summer so they could see more of the school’s outdoor activities.
The school had previously only held open days in November, but headteacher Sue Boor said the summer one would now become a regular fixture.
She said: “We tried to show our visitors a typical day at school, so they were able to see PE lessons and the early years outside curriculum as well as the normal lessons in the classroom.
