Some of the finest artwork in the district is on display at South Holland Centre in Spalding until next Thursday.
The 14th South Holland Open Arts Exhibition – showcasing the best work created by professional and amateur artists who live and work in South Holland and the surrounding region – started yesterday.
More than 80 exhibits have been selected from the mass of entries by artists aged 14 and over.
South Holland District Council’s arts and culture development officer Rachel Rowett said selecting the entries to be used was a tough task.
She said: “The standard of entries was very high and there was an increase in the number too.”
Entry is free and the exhibition is open until next Thursday (closed Sunday and Wednesday). Times vary.
