Store would need to be in town

Certainly the people of Spalding should be consulted if another cinema and supermarket are being proposed, but if Richard Garvie’s aim is to ‘increase footfall in the town’ I find it surprising that he wants that supermarket built out of town on the A16.

To increase footfall in the town, that supermarket would surely need to be in a town centre position.

A supermarket on the bypass would only make it easier for people to do their shopping without entering the town centre at all.
