LETTER: If you must drive like your trousers are on fire, then go and do it on your Xbox

Regarding the dangerous road (the new A1073/A16) I feel I must comment on the description of an inanimate object that really is not dangerous.

I will agree that there are a couple of junctions that were obviously designed late on a Friday.

The main problem is that the impatient road users that drove so badly on the old road are now repeating their performances on the new one.

If the road is driven on with care and respect for other users it is possible to get to Peterborough without being in the back of an ambulance.

Why the rush? Leave a few minutes earlier.

If you must drive like your trousers are on fire do it on your Xbox.
