LETTER: Fishing for their supper every night

I SEE the fishing for supper brigade are out in force again.

Every evening without fail, certain people are fishing our town’s river for their supper.

How do I know this? They have no keep nets, just a cheap rod and a plastic bag to take home their pickings.

Why isn’t something being done about this?

Our English way of life is being undermined by people who seem to be getting away with anything.

Living by the riverside, we are also treated to sights of many men urinating against walls, trees , even our house wall.

Unfortunately it’s not hidden from us, as our window looks out onto these lovely scenes, often when we are eating.
