Knitting is said to relieve stress and break down barriers – and it certainly had people talking at Spalding Market.
The Craft Army were out in Hall Place on Tuesday for Worldwide Knit in Public Day. Amy Lee, Cheryl Ash and Carol Parker (pictured) sat on the benches knitting in the sunshine as part of the Art in the High Street initiative. Carol said: “We’ve had a lot of people come over and talk to us. It’s what knitting does because it’s something familiar that they probably saw their grans doing. But it’s getting more popular.” SG170614-107TW
