A NEW theatre company is running classes in confidence building.
BRM Theatre is a not-for-profit community theatre company that wants to use theatre to give back to the community and make it available to everyone.
The people behind it believe in using the power of theatre to make a difference, such as new confidence building workshops at St Nicolas Hall, The Vista, Spalding, where drama training is used to help people who suffer with low confidence. Classes begin at 7.30pm this Friday.
Company director Brett Moore had spent most of his life in theatre as a hobby but a serious road accident inspired him to change his life and he went to university to train in community theatre.
Since then he has teamed up with Laura Scott to start a theatre company that really makes a difference.
They hope to introduce weekend free theatre training sessions by the end of next year but for now they are starting with new drama workshops for ten to 15-year-olds at The Vista, every Wednesday from 6.35pm-7.35pm for £2, and drama workshops for those aged 16 and over from 7.45pm-9.45pm for £10.
